- Valid Travel Document: Your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months after the completion date of your course.

Certificates of English Proficiency Test Score
All British universities and colleges accept many types of English proficiency language test results as proof of proficiency in the English language. However, these are English Proficiency Test Scores Certificates for Study in UK that are accepted by UKVI (UK Visa and Immigration) and most universities:
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System): It is the most widely accepted language proficiency test score. You will need 6.0 bands IELTS for UK undergraduate studies and 6.5 IELTS bands for graduate studies.

International students who want to pursue higher education must write a statement of purpose (known as SOP), and submit it to the university at the time of admission. It is an institute-specific essay in which you explain your accomplishments, reasons and motivations that make you the best candidate for their certain degree program.
The statement of purpose for UK universities is typically two pages long, having a minimum of 800 to 1000 words. While there’s a restriction to follow a certain writing format. But, we recommend following a general essay writing format with some essential elements, such as:

- Introduce Your Relation: Tell your relation to the application and why you are writing a reference letter. Explain the applicant’s academic accomplishments, personal qualities and motivations to the admission committee.
- Support Your Claims With Evidence: Tell a true story where the applicant demonstrated more personal and professional skills, such as being a team leader or passionate professional.

Curriculum Vitae/Resume
When applying to educational institutions, international students need to submit a resume or CV for UK, which explains personal information, academic background, and professional work experience. Reverse Chronological Order is the most commonly accepted format for CV for UK universities.
However, as an international student, you should make a customized resume for each course program and university. If you tailor your CV, it will help you have a positive impact on the admission committee. However, certain sections need to be in CV for UK university application, such as:
- Accurate Personal Information: Include your name, date of birth, and contact information.
- Formal & Informal Education: Include every qualification or degree you have completed, along with its completion year, name of the institution.
- Work Experience: Include previous jobs with their titles, duration responsibilities, and employer’s name.
- Kills: Include your personal and professional skills. It can be hard and soft skills, such as teamwork, hard work, and technical skills.
Working Experience Letters
In the United Kingdom, no written law requires international students to have work experience letters to study for most offered programs. However, on the other hand, working experience letters for the UK are considered beneficial and highly advantageous, particularly when applying for admission into top research-based graduate programs.
Top British universities preferably accept students with strong bachelor's degrees and 1-2 years of prior work experience in diverse fields, including but not limited to nursing, healthcare, therapy, physiotherapy, and midwifery courses.
Your employer can provide a working experience letter with certain essential information mentioned, such as date of letter issuance, salutation, employee name (your name), date of joining and leaving, designation (or job title), assigned job roles, and a good wish message for future success.
Passport
Bangladeshi students who intend to study abroad must have a valid passport with at least a period of intended stay. Not only this, your passport should have 6 months of additional validity. In particular, your passport must have a minimum validity of 18 months if your program requires 12 months of study.
As an international student, you are required to have a confirmed valid passport upon arrival in the United Kingdom. If your passport expires while studying, you may have to leave the country and get detained.
You can check your Bangladeshi passport for UK study by carefully looking at the front page where the expiry date is mentioned. However, if your passport expires soon, you should reapply (or) renew your passport before applying for a student visa. In Bangladesh, you can apply online for passport renewal from the ease of your home. But, before applying, keep the following things in mind:
- Your passport should be damage-free and in neat condition.
- Your passport copy must be with the student visa application.
- Your passport should have one page blank for a study visa.
Financial Capacity Evidence
As a Bangladeshi student, you must satisfy the visa officer by showing the bank balance required for UK visa approval. No matter what country, every international student must meet the financial requirements for a UK student visa. The minimum funds required are:
- £1,334 per month is required to study duration within London.
- £1,023 per month is required for study duration outside of London.
For UK student visa financial evidence, you need to showcase enough financial resources to cover the expenses during the studies (such as tuition fees, accommodation, food expenses, and health insurance). You can show the required funds either of these:
- Bank Statement.
- Education Loan Letter.
- Salary Pay Slips with an employment contract.

International students can either show a 3-month (or) 6-month bank statement as proof of financial evidence. However, the minimum amount required depends on the individual’s program duration and visa category.
Additional Documents
Bangladeshi students need additional documents besides mandatory (or standard) documents for a UK student visa. Here are some additional documents that might support your visa application:
- Travel insurance: You should have valid travel insurance covering your entire study duration in the United Kingdom.
- Confirmation of Accommodation: You should provide a tenancy agreement between you and your landlord as proof of accommodation confirmation.
- Proof of relationship: You should provide a marriage certificate or family registration certificate if you are married or have dependent children(s).
- Equivalency Certificate: If your previous education is from a different educational system, you should provide an equivalency certificate.
