Master of Business and Management

The Master of Business and Management offers a practical and inspiring learning experience for students aiming to excel in business leadership and management roles. The program includes 11 papers with approximately 30 hours of learning per week, combining classroom lectures, real-world case studies, group assignments, videos, social media, creative problem solving, and reflective learning. Students gain hands-on experience through a virtual consultancy project, working in small teams for local businesses under the guidance of Waikato Management School and host organizations. The course also develops business research skills, as students complete individual case studies and write research reports. Through the Integrative Learning Project, students collaborate in teams to create a business plan for their own entrepreneurial venture and pitch their ideas to senior business leaders in a 'Dragons' Den'-style format. This program also provides tools and support for career development, helping students transition into leadership positions. With a focus on practical application, entrepreneurship, and advanced management concepts, this Business Management Master's equips graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in diverse industries and entrepreneurial environments.
