The programme focuses on turning large amounts of data into actionable insights for better decision-making. In today's world, vast amounts of data are generated at high speeds, and this is becoming more complex. We are constantly surrounded by technology, such as smartphones, sensors, and cameras, which monitor our daily lives. Automation and digitalization are crucial across industries, especially in healthcare, where analyzing large amounts of medical data is becoming vital. The programme includes data science, statistics, and decision analysis courses, offering a well-rounded understanding of these essential fields. The curriculum was developed in collaboration with the Department of Statistics. Throughout the first three semesters, students take courses worth 30 credits in each subfield, with at least one course from each subfield every semester. The programme concludes with a master's thesis in the fourth semester.
