The Master’s Programme in Operations Management and Control at Stockholm University (Stockholm Business School) is a comprehensive two-year postgraduate degree designed to prepare students for leadership roles in managing complex business processes, supply chains, and operational transformations. Taught entirely in English, the programme awards a Master of Science (120 ECTS) in Business Administration. It bridges strategic management, financial analysis, and operational design, teaching students how to optimize resource allocation, enhance process efficiency, and deliver sustainable customer value across manufacturing and service organizations. The first year builds strong analytical and strategic foundations through core courses including Operations Strategy, Business Analytics: Data, Models and Decisions, Financial Statement Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Current Research in Accounting & Operations Management, Advanced Research Methods, Advanced Operations Management, and Management Control Systems. The third semester provides exceptional academic flexibility, enabling students to pursue an international exchange semester at a prestigious global partner university, undertake specialized elective courses, or gain professional industry experience through the Reflective Practice internship.
