Taught entirely in English within the Faculty of Science and Engineering on Campus Valla, this programme awards a Master of Science (120 ECTS) with a major in Mechanical Engineering. It covers the entire lifecycle of complex product realization—from conceptual design and simulation to modern manufacturing, automation, structural integrity, and sustainable lifecycle management. The curriculum is structured around mandatory foundational coursework followed by deep specialization across five distinct tracks: Applied Mechanics, Engineering Design and Product Development, Engineering Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, and Mechatronics. Core and elective modules cover Advanced Finite Element Method (FEM), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Multi-Body Dynamics and Robotics, Design Optimization, Road Vehicle Dynamics, Continuum Mechanics, Damage Mechanics and Life Analysis, and Production Automation.
