The Master’s Programme in Cybersecurity at Linköping University (Institute of Technology - LiTH) is an elite, two-year research-connected postgraduate degree engineered to educate defensive and offensive security architects, cryptologists, and cybersecurity strategists. Taught entirely in English within the Faculty of Science and Engineering on Campus Valla, this programme awards a Master of Science (120 ECTS) with a major in Computer Science. Linköping is internationally recognized as Sweden’s cybersecurity capital, housing key national security hubs such as the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), the National Forensic Centre (NFC), and high-profile security defense industries. Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS credits) equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering (or a minor with at least 60 ECTS in programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and computer networks). Prerequisites include at least 22 ECTS credits in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics (including discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and calculus). English proficiency equivalent to Swedish Upper Secondary School English 6 / English B.

This programme is taught on-campus at Linköping University's Campus Valla in Linköping. For a Swedish student residence permit, the Swedish Migration Agency requires a verified maintenance amount of at least SEK 10,656 per month (SEK 127,872 per year).
