Students are encouraged to discuss their research interests and project ideas with the Program Advisor early on. Before beginning their chosen project, students must submit a proposal for approval by the Social Justice Graduate Committee. Students in the coursework stream only need to inform the program coordinator about their stream choice. To enter the research, creative, or practicum streams, students must have their projects and supervisors approved. Regardless of the chosen stream, students must complete 4 Full Course Equivalents (FCEs) to graduate. The program offers a range of courses each semester, including special topics classes. Students typically complete 2 FCEs per year, with their research, creative project, or practicum in the second year, earning 1 FCE for their project.
