What does VFS Global do?

VFS Global is UKVI’s authorized visa application centre that accepts visa applications from visa applicants on the behalf of relevant embassy, consulate or diplomatic mission. 

VFS Global UK is an outsourcing company that is authorized to take visa application along with required documents and take their biometrics and photographs. UK Student Visa Fees

As a Bangladeshi student, you are required to apply for UK student visa, and the UK student visa fee from Bangladesh is £363 (around BDT47,857). However, if you are in UK, and want to switch visa categories or planning to extend your existing student visa for any further education, it would be £490 for student permit renewal.

In addition to it, international students have to mandatory pay their healthcare surcharge. If you are staying longer than 6 months, then you are required to pay a healthcare surcharge, which will cost you £470 for one-year.

UK Student Visa Processing Time

The official UK visa processing time generally takes 3 to 4 weeks (which counts as 21-28 working days). However, it may take longer depending on visa category, and no. of applicants applied.

As a Bangladeshi student, you can also pay an additional fee (which is £500) to get a “priority service” at the time of visa application and get your visa decision in only five days from the submission date. However, if you want your decision superfast, you can go for another additional fee, and get a decision within 24 hours of application submission.

Upload Docs to the Embassy
